Ryan Wood, DMD, is a native of Douglasville, Georgia. He attended the University of Georgia (UGA), where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. At UGA, he was initiated into the Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta and was also an active member in the University’s Student Government Association. Dr. Wood attended the Medical College of Georgia for Dental School. After graduation he went on to complete a General Practice Residency at the Medical College of Georgia, which consisted of further training in dental implants, intravenous conscious sedation, and general dentistry. Dr. Wood is currently a member of the Georgia Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is an active volunteer at the Good News Clinic. Dr. Wood lives in Gainesville with his wife, Liz, and their twins, Catherine and James. Dr. Wood attends Gainesville First United Methodist Church, and in his free time he enjoys golf, hunting, UGA football and time spent on Lake Lanier with his family.
